St Hillier’s very own Jennifer Dwyer has been busy dedicating her time to saving and caring for senior rescue dogs and cats in need as part of her role within the Golden Oldies Animal Rescue (GOAR).
Last Friday morning, Jen took two of her rescue dogs, Ruby and Jersey, to visit the Little Zaks Academy and speak to the pre-school kids about Animal Safety and Animal Care. The gorgeous Ruby and Jersey were on their best behaviour and were spoilt with pats and treats from the kids.
As the Western Sydney Foster / Rescue Coordinator and Emergency and Palliative Care Provider, Jen dedicates her time to providing the best care possible for each rescue animal that comes through the doors to either re-home them long term or provide them with palliative care.
The GOAR is a volunteer charity run solely by volunteers and are always looking for donations to help their rescue dogs and cats get the best possible care.
To donate cash, food, flea and tick treatment, worming tablets and collars for both dogs and cats please visit https://www.goldenoldiesanimalrescue.com.au/ or go to their facebook page @goldenoldiesanimalrescue.
